Lisa Erickson joined the Saskatchewan Literacy Network
in 2002 as the Adult Literacy Coordinator. Until 2007, when
she became the SLN's Executive Director, Lisa worked as
the Field Development Coordinator and Communications Coordinator.
Before moving to Saskatchewan, she worked in corrections,
family services, youth justice, and anti-violence programs
in both Alberta and Manitoba, as well as a Literacy Coordinator
with the John Howard Society. Lisa's interests in informal,
life long, life wide learning and learning communities has
shaped her career. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Conflict
Resolution Studies from the University of Winnipeg (1996)
and a Master of Continuing Education (MCE),specializing
in Workplace Learning, from the University of Calgary (2004),
which provides her with the tools to pursue the SLN's strategic
vision through day-to-day activities.
Ollie Glemser, Finance Manager

Ollie Glemser joined the Saskatchewan Literacy Network
in 2005 as the Financial Manger. With a background in financial
management in the mining industry in Saskatchewan Ollie
brings over 30 years of experience to our team. He currently
manages all financial aspects of the SLN, including the
day to day financial management of our funding, our office,
and our work. Ollie holds a Certified Management Accountant
(CMA) degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
Shirley Larson, Administrative Assistant

Shirley Larson joined the Saskatchewan Literacy Network
in 2009 as the Administrative Assistant. Shirley
brings over 35 years of administrative experience, a passion
for continuous learning, and an enthusiasm to strive for
a job well done to the SLN team. Her background in organization
and administrative brings extensive expertise to the SLN
team. When not working, Shirley enjoys spending time with
her family and volunteering as the manager for her sons'
hockey teams and is currently volunteering as the Fundraising
Coordinator for the Saskatoon Aces Minor Hockey Association.
Karen Rosser, Workforce & Community Literacy

Karen Rosser joined the Saskatchewan Literacy Network in
2011 as the Adult Literacy Coordinator. With a
background in communications and research, she has worked
in the Workplace Essential Skills field as well as Program
Director for the Training-to-Employment program for First
Nations & Métis people in Saskatchewan. Karen
has a Bachelors of Arts in International Studies as well
as a Masters in Public Administration from the University
of Saskatchewan.

Elaine Ebenal, Benchmarks & Special Projects

Elaine Ebenal joined the Saskatchewan Literacy Network
in 2007 as the Benchmarks Coordinator (Levels 1 &
2 Adult Literacy Benchmarks project). With a background
in education and communication, Elaine has worked as a literacy
tutor, a community development volunteer, and a literacy
and life skills facilitator. She has 16 years of experience
with the Saskatchewan’s Regional College System as
a counselor, facilitator, and program coordinator. Elaine
has a Bachelor of Education Degree and holds a Certificate
in Adult and Continuing Education from the University of
Saskatchewan.
Marilyn Stearns, Family Literacy Development

Marilyn Stearns joined the Saskatchewan Literacy Network
in 2007 as the Family Literacy Coordinator. With
a background in education and community development, she
has worked as a community coordinator, an educational associate,
and has received the Governor General’s Caring Canadian
award for her volunteer community service. Marilyn has recently
completed a Family Literacy Certificate from Vancouver Community
College.
Bonnie Zink, Communications & Knowledge Mobilization

Bonnie Zink joined the Saskatchewan Literacy Network in
2011 as the Communications Coordinator. With a
background in communications, research, knowledge translation
and exchange, and knowledge mobilization, she has worked
with government, nonprofit organizations, and academia to
develop appropriate messaging that targets a wide variety
of audiences. Bonnie is a practicing freelance writer, Knowledge
Translation and Exchange / Mobilization Professional, as well as a Communications
Spcecialist who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the
University of Regina and is
credentialed as a qualified Community of Practice Facilitator
and Consultant from Red Deer College.
